Quick story – Amanda came to our office for a consultation on a Wednesday morning, and we genuinely clicked – she came prepared with a PowerPoint show of ideas & inspiration, we talked fabric & sewing, all around good time. I rarely watch TV on the weekends, so the odds of me catching 20 minutes of HGTV on a Sunday in July are really low… and somehow, the following Sunday afternoon, I had free time while my man was mowing the lawn & the lil girl was asleep and ended up with “Curb Appeal” – the one that featured a neighborhood in Atlanta. The one with Amanda & her house getting a surprise yard facelift. I couldn’t believe it, but it was her, no doubt. When I finished up her proposal the next week & emailed it, I told her that I’d seen her ON TV! and how awesome was that! she was very gracious, in true character (and explained that it wasn’t really a surprise when the camera crew & host ‘showed up’ at her door, but rather her skilled acting, hee hee).
Anyway, we did get to do Amanda & Steve’s wedding at the Cotton Warehouse, beautifully photographed by W.Scott Chester Photography. And now Amanda’s even MORE famous – Green Wedding Shoes has featured her wedding!

Really loved working with Heather Lakes of Ashley Baber Weddings for the coordinating that day, too – if you think you don’t need a planner, pleasepleaseplease think again about the money & headaches & time that such an experienced wedding professional can save you (and your other vendors!).
